Scenery: Arthur Dirks
Facility: Rondileau Auditorium
Notes:
This production was set on a raked stage. The show opened in India with a scarlet fever epidemic. Then it moved to the English mansion represented by the flown window cutout. The hall of ancestors was a lineset of flown picture frames, with the company holding others around their faces. The garden was illustrated with two cut drops, a dull one before the rebirth and then a brilliant one. A slipstage that matched the rake brought on the bed. Other scenery was flown or placed by actors. The cast sat on benches on each side of the stage in low lighting. |
