'Night, Mother

This was a faculty project, performed by Lee Dunne and Suzanne Ramczyk under their own direction. It was done in intimate thrust staging, and was added into the production schedule for a week of tech and three performances. My approach was that they lived one step up from a double-wide. No scenic statements here.

The kitchen had running water and the cabinets were all shop-built. I have a great staff.

The play is a tough piece for the audience, and we had community sessions afterward. The actresses were astonished at how the audience found it difficult to separate them from their characters.
