California Suite

For this show I couldn't take much from the action, since it is 4 couples and 4 stories. So I went with the title, and I traded on every California clichè I could come up with in the early 1980s. A diagonally panelled wall, an oriental divider, bright shag carpet, a southwestern adobe wall, lots of levels and lots of pasty magenta and mauve. I rather liked some of the effect, especially the round picture windows on the sides, repeated center to imply a divider between the rooms.
